American Military Family is inviting all motorcycles and any other vehicles out this Saturday for the "Memory Mayne" poker run. If you support our military, this is an event you can support and feel good about doing so.

Summer might be drawing to a close soon but there is still plenty of time to get out and ride! In celebration we've teamed up with Thunder Mountain Harley Davidson to give away a brand new 883 "Iron" Sportster.

Make plans for Saturday August 24th and a great day of riding motorcycles and raising money through Zac's Legacy Foundation to help other kids battling the effects of cancer helping them to live a better life. Talk about a feel good day and ALL vehicles are welcome and encouraged.

My Mom passed along a fun little piece from the Greeley Tribune that I had to share. Times have changed a great deal, especially when it comes to "top speeds" of the motorcycles of years gone by.

Some friends of mine, Dan and Michelle Benavidez, (American Military Family) lost their son, Staff Sgt. Kenneth Mayne in 2008. Today, his memory lives on every year with the "Memory Mayne" poker run and it's going on this Saturday.

Many of us will again converge on Topeka Kansas the weekend following labor day for our 2013 Journey 4 Justice National Rally and a chance to see many old friends. If you have been hearing the stories and seeing the pictures the past two years and wanted to experience something very different, this is your chance.

Coming up in September, another Honor Flight will again take to the skies loaded with Veterans from Northern Colorado to go pay their respects at their respective memorials in Washington D.C.. But, the trips are not free, and this Saturday, is an event I hope to see hundreds of motorcycles and people at. Just by showing up and donating a few bucks is a solid way to show them you're grateful.

The Sleigh Riders Motorcycle Toy Run again placed twice in as many years with their entry in the Greeley Stampede Parade on July 4th. Not a bad showing in their first two years.

July offers another great opportunity to show your support for our military on Saturday the 27th. The Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association (CVMA) are dedicated to helping veterans and we can all get behind that.

The Greeley Stampede parade is turning out to be one of the funnest events for the Sleigh Riders and this year was no exception with motorcycles coming in for coffee, juice and breakfast and making those last minute preparations. Best parade ever!

If you're a Sleigh Rider and planning on riding in our entry tomorrow for the country's largest 4th of July parade, here are some key reminders. If you ride and have never heard of the Sleigh Riders this is the perfect time to find out who we are.

Add more motorcycles than you can count, thousands of people, great live music, organized rides, cold beer and tons of vendors. Mix briskly over a 4-day weekend and what do you get? Thunder in the Rockies!
