I can only imagine what it must be like for many soldiers who served in the military and then try and transition back into civilian life; it can't be easy. It's refreshing to see groups who deal with this very issue and this April will be an opportunity for many Veterans.
We have lost two more soldiers since last Monday's post. Sadly, 90% of the population probably has no idea today who these two brave young men were or that they even existed for that matter. Freedom isn't free at all; someone has to pay for it. Please make it a point this week to go out of your way and thank a soldier. It's a good habit to get into!
There are many organizations who focus on the needs of our Military men and woman regardless of deployment or being state-side. American Military Family is one of the best and today I want to introduce you to The Landstuhl Hospital Care Project.
Team USA is still very much alive in the World Baseball Classic. When manager Joe Torre's squad takes on the Dominican Republic Thursday night, it will once again have a rather tattered U.S. flag hanging in its dugout
Actually, it's a pretty fair question. I had no idea the 32 Benghazi survivors who were rescued have not made it home yet, including 5 high ranking diplomats. Or have they? Who knows...that's the problem. Where are they?
We have sadly lost two more soldiers. Even though these two did not die in battle, they still died under our Flag while on watch. Please keep Army Spc. Cody D. Suggs and Air Force Tech. Sgt. Larry D. Bunn and their families in your thoughts and prayers.
Country singer and staunch military supporter Craig Morgan is scheduled to make his tenth trip overseas to entertain U.S troops stationed abroad. The entertainer will travel to southwest Asia for a series of acoustic performances this spring.
I personally think there is nothing more beautiful than our American Flag at Sunset and to make that even more special, it's always nice to let you know that another week has gone by and we have no one Killed In Action to report. How do you top news like that?
