Killed In Action

Maj. Gen. Harold J. Greene is the highest ranking official to be killed in combat since 1970. His death came at the hands of an Afghan soldier we trained which begs the question.

Two more soldiers from the United States Army have given their all for Operation Enduring Freedom, and more importantly, our great Nation. These two are heroes by anyone's definition so please keep their families in your thoughts and prayers.

'Boots On The Ground' is one of those things you are grateful that exists, but you wish it didn't, and you especially don't want to see it come to your hometown, but glad it will.

More troops have been Killed In Action while we slept and enjoyed our freedom. 5 from the United States Army and 3 from the United States Marine Corps have given their all.

I was having coffee this morning and loaded up the old FB page and started through my news feed when I came across this picture and story from Debbie Quackenbush (American Military Family) and I wanted to share it with you as well.

Another week and another soldier who has paid the ultimate price since last Monday’s post. These warriors have paid the ultimate price for our freedom. Please remember, “Freedom” isn’t free at all; someone has to pay for it. Please make it a point this week to go out of your way and thank a soldier. It’s a good habit to get into!
