Afghanistan, it was in fact six troops from the United States Army who lost their lives. Our hearts, thoughts and prayers again are extended to these families.
Sadly, the loss of life continues in 'Operation Enduring Freedom.' It was Lance Cpl. Matthew R. Rodriguez who went way above and beyond to defend the honor of our great nation.
Operation Enduring Freedom continues with no real end in sight but we have at least gone another full week without anyone losing their life. Again, it's nice to not play "Angel Flight" today; for all the right reasons. No matter what it is you're doing today, you're doing so because of a United States Veteran. Please make it a point to thank at least one this week.
Sadly, the loss of life continues in 'Operation Enduring Freedom.' Since last Monday’s post, we have brought home two (2) deployed soldiers and four (4) explosive ordinance disposal technicians who were killed in a tragic accident last week. The last Marine accident like this was over 20 years ago.
Operation Enduring Freedom isn't on holiday today. Everyday is Veterans Day for those deployed but today bears good news for this weeks 'KIA Honor Post.' It's a great pleasure to not play "Angel Flight" on my show today due to the fact that no one deployed was killed last week. No matter what it is you're doing today, you're doing so because of a United States Veteran. Please make it a point to thank at least one today before you rest your head.
I originally had this post done to publish at 3:00 PM today. I was pumped because there was no one to honor again this week and that would have been two weeks in a row, which has never happened since I have been doing this every Monday for the last two years. I checked one last time at 3:00 PM and the DoD just listed a soldier from the United States Army who was killed yesterday.
Operation Enduring Freedom rages on but I am happy to report that no one has lost their life since last Monday's post. For today's video, I searched "Military Tribute" and the video that came up actually was done by a friend of mine, Andrew Manzano of The Sound Tank. How ironic is that? Please feel free to share these Monday reminders to all you know, so they too, will remember that someone is paying for the freedom we all enjoy everyday here in the United States of America.
The loss of life continues in 'Operation Enduring Freedom.' Since last Monday’s post, three (3) more have given their all; two of them Killed In Action. Please feel free to share these Monday reminders to all you know, so they too, will remember that someone is paying for the freedom we all enjoy everyday here in the United States of America.
Sadly, the loss of life continues in 'Operation Enduring Freedom.' Since last Monday’s post, five (5) more have given their all. The silver lining to this cloud is that a charity has stepped up to pay the death benefits that the Government currently can't do. Please feel free to share these Monday reminders to all you know, so they too, will remember that someone is paying for their freedom.
Sadly, the loss of life continues in 'Operation Enduring Freedom.' Since last Monday’s post, we have brought a Marine, which is one too many. Please feel free to share these Monday reminders to all you know, so they too, will remember that someone is paying for their freedom.
