Yesterday was a fantastic day at the Promenade Shops at Centerra as K99 & Ehrlich Nissan made Gary Daniels of Eaton the proud owner of a new 2011 Nissan Titan crew cab 4x4 truck.  Here's a quick look at the day through the lens of my iPhone.

Saturday in Northern Colorado. Seems like a nice morning. Sun is up. Birds are chirping. The smell of coffee brewing. All appears calm on the front range. Wait! What are all those people at the Promenade Shops at Centerra doing with Nissan truck keys in their hands? Something seems strange. There's an odd sense of anticipation in the air. And the smell of a new truck.

Broken Bow recording artist James Wesley visited K99 on Wednesday (5/18/11) and performed a private mini-concert for the K99 staff and a couple of lucky K99 Winners! James did his 1st hit "Real", his current single "Didn't I", and a few other numbers from his upcoming album.

Country newcomer Bradley Gaskin visited the K99 studios on Friday! Bradley performed 3 songs for the K99, including his new single "Mr. Bartender".    We were able to capture all 3 songs on video thanks to Drew from Star Painter Productions of Fort Collins. Anyone that has listened to the Good Morning Guys for the past 2 decades know how much kids mean to them! For Brian, it's gone to whole new level. He is a Grandpa now!  Todd and his wife were never able to have children.  Helping out kids means something very special.  Tonight Brian and Todd are hosting the United Way of Weld County Grand Ole Auction to benefit Promises For Children!

Every year, just before Easter, the Good Morning Guys celebrate the holiday by playing Chubby Bunny. It is a game where you see how many marshmallow Peeps you can stuff into your mouth and still say "Chubby Bunny". The last couple of years it has been Todd vs Susan! They went head-to-head again this year!

I am getting really pumped up for the Rodney Atkins/Little Big Town concert June 24th at the Greeley Stampede!

Residents that left their homes last night as part of the precautionary evacuation were allowed to return to their homes this morning at 10:00 a.m.  Although roads are open to residents  the current roadblocks will continue to operate for the foreseeable future according to Larimer County officials.
