In life, Ashley and Colton were go-getters. It took a lot to bring them down, but they always bounced back quickly, for there was always as smile they had to help someone find. They were fighters for happiness. And now from the gates of Heaven are reaching out to help yet again.

I am thankful to be a part of such a great community. My Ashley and Colton went on to ready a place in Heaven for us 5 months ago this week and the Rocky football family continues to amaze us by remembering not just our Gentle Giant but our Princess as well.

The Child Advocacy Center has been a friend of K99 for years, they have become an extended part of our radio family. My daughter recognized their power in the community and fought for her peers in high school to know more about this vital entity.

When a child is tragically taken from this earth it is not only the family that suffers but the whole community. The classmates and friends of the person hurt too and need to talk about it. Tonight Rocky Mountain High School will offer the students and their families an opportunity to gather at Olander Elementary School, 3401 Auntie Stone Street in Fort Collins and remember Colton and Ashley Fischer who were killed in a traffic accident earlier this week.

The entire K99 family is hurting today. On Sunday there was a tragic traffic accident in North Dakota that took the lives of our own D Dennison's 16 year old son Colton and her 17 year old daughter Ashley. There are no words to describe how much we all hurt for D and her family. There is nothing more painful than to outlive your children and I cannot imagine the pain they are going thru.
