Country Jam 2013 in Grand Junction is drawing to a close, and we've seen some crazy stuff as we've been out taking pictures and talking with people, especially in the campgrounds. That being said, we took some time to capture the Country Jam experience from the view point of a camper.
As the weather starts to warm up a little, the activity outside our Taste of Country Nights studio has really increased. First we saw a couple of guys with remote control boats out by the canal -- now this?!
Ever since this happened, I couldn't wait to tell you all about it. Have you ever had something happen to you that literally takes 10 minutes to sink in? Well, that's what happened to me yesterday while I was eating lunch at a restaurant by myself (we'll talk about that in another blog).
This weekend I went to the auto show in downtown Dallas with a few friends. We enjoyed looking at hundreds of brand-new, shiny cars. The whole convention center smelled like all of the vehicles had just rolled off the assembly line.
We made it! Happy weekend! A couple of nights ago on the show, the Band Perry shared with us a few of the embarrassing songs they have on their iPods. Somehow I mentioned I love Sylvia's 'Nobody,' and our phone lines and text blew up!
