Hurricane Sandy

In response to Hurricane Sandy, Due West stepped up to the plate to record a song that is being used in the relief efforts of the devastation left by the storm. The song is about what we all have thought at one time or another if faced with an evacuation crisis.

I recently had a huge tree removed from my yard and know how much work is involved in getting it out of the ground. I was watching the news footage of Hurricane Sandy and saw this video that amazed me.

This morning, much of the East Coast is picking up the pieces after the massive storm known as Hurricane Sandy swept through, leaving millions without power, causing untold economic damage, and killing at least 21 people. Flooding caused largely by enormous, unprecedented storm surges has crippled transportation routes and wreaked havoc on low-lying areas.

I know we all have the folks out east in our prayers and they really need them. I know we have felt the prayers coming from them when we were going through our fires this summer and now we need to return the favor.
