Summer break is officially over for School District 6 students. Some parents might have taken a sigh of relief this morning to know their kids will be learning and busy again, for some of the kids, well, their emotions were mixed.
A Greeley woman called Greeley Police in a panic when she noticed her television remote control was missing. She thought she had been robbed. Is there a remote thief on the run?
August 9, 2011 The National Weather Service has issued a Tornado Watch in effect until 9:00pm MT tonight for portions of Northern Colorado including Weld County and the city of Greeley. A Tornado Watch means that conditions are favorable for the development of tornadoes in and close to the watch area. Stay tuned to K99 for updates & possible warnings.

A couple years ago we got to know Rodney on a whole different level. He appeared on our Annual 28 Hours of Hope and told a story that brought Brian and me...and thousands of our listeners to tears.

January 25, 2011 Today marks an anniversary for me. The very first appearance we ever made as K99 was at the Colorado Farm Show about 22 years ago. Today I will return for the 21st time. I had to miss the farm show a few years ago when I had my heart attack, but that was the only one I have missed since the 1990's.
January 17, 2011 A number of local events to celebrate the life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. will be held today in Northern Colorado and across the state:
GREELEY
The city of Greeley’s celebration will begin today with a ceremonial march from the Greeley Chamber of Commerce to the Union Colony Civic Center. The four-block march will begin at 11 a.m. and will end with former U.S. gymnast Dominique Dawes delivering the keynote speech.
January 3, 2011 K99 welcomes Northern Colorado's newest citizens!

Greeley's first baby of 2011 arrived at 2:59 a.m. Saturday at North Colorado Medical Center. Soraya Viridiana Martinez weighed 6 pounds, 11 ounces. She is the second child born to parents Viridiana and Oscar Martinez of Evans.
