I am not a religious man, but sometimes things happen that I cannot explain. It seems like yesterday I got the phone call. My sister told me that my Mom was in Duke Medical Center in North Carolina and we needed to fly out from Denver to see her.  I asked all of my Facebook friends to pray for my Mom.  I instantly had 60 people say that they would...and each day the number continued to grow.

Fort Collins resident Lindsey Cartier is an American Idol contestant.  She received a golden ticket from the Aspen auditions.  That means she got to go to Hollywood. Tonight and tomorrow is Hollywood week.  We had Lindsey on our show yesterday and she told us she saw herself in the promo, which makes her hopeful they will feature her on the show tonight.

Lindsey is an American Idol contestant.  She received a golden ticket from the Aspen auditions.  That means she got to go to Hollywood. In her spare time Lindsey is a singer for the funk band Archie Funker. Her real job is a nutritionist at a local grocery store. Brian and Todd had Lindsey as a special guest on their show this morning.

Sleep. We all need it. We all love it. We all do it differently. In a recent survey 41% of us say we sleep curled up in the fetal position, 15% sleep on their side, 8% on the back and 7% on the stomach. I am guessing the rest sleep standing up. I always start out in the fetal position and end up on my back.

When Todd was on vacation, Brian had Twinkie eating contest with the other Morning Show Djs in the building.  The loser had to get a tattoo of Twinkie the kid on his arm. Brian lost! Thus....Twinkie ink!  Milliken Inkhouse's Jaime Gutierrez is the artist who stepped up to do the job...and what a great job he did.

Todd here: I recently took a trip to North Carolina to visit my Mom in the hospital. (She is doing much better) While I was there I had a chance to stay on my sister's farm in Mebane.  She and her boyfriend have huntin' dogs, cows, horses, guineas, and 36 chickens! All of the chickens are friendly, but one little clucker is a particularly chummy chicken. This chicken sits on my sister's head!

I had lunch with a friend the other day. We always talk about getting together for lunch but it seems to only happen about twice a year. Why do we do that? We get so busy that we think we don’t have time to do things we enjoy. Make the time.
