Over the weekend I headed up to Rocky Mountain National Park to take some pictures! I stopped at Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory in Estes Park on my way up to buy some Avalanche. It's become a time-honored tradition!

Our buddy Josh was helped by a Shriners' Hospital when he was a little guy.  We are so proud that now he is paying it forward. Josh is working toward becoming a Shriner himself. The El Jebel Shrine Circus is in Denver this weekend and proceeds from the circus go directly to the hospitals to help people like Josh!

Dan and Michelle Benavedez are walking to Illinois for the American Military Honor Rally and coming through Loveland. K99 will be on hand and would love for you to be there too.

Every Year Realities for Children holds its annual banquet to honor those wonderful people who help out kids who have been abused and neglected in our community.  This year's event also features "Keeping Dreams Alive", which grants the dreams of children who are served by the Larimer County Child Protection Services System.  I have the honor of co-hosting the event with Realities founder

Welcome to the final chapter of my Journey 4 Justice ride to Topeka. As I had mentioned at the end of part 4, when we left Topeka at 9 local time, it was a beautiful morning. The minute we turned the corner onto I-70 the wind hit us like a kick to the groin.

Todd and I went to Randy’s All American Grill in Greeley last night to celebrate Randy’s 60th birthday. When we walked in I was hailed by some folks who had just ordered the Brian Gary Burger. Today I am going to take you through part number 4 in my series of my Journey 4 Justice trip ride to Topeka. Today we do what we came for. The whole purpose of this trip was to combat the evil forces that lurk at Westboro Baptist cult in Topeka, Kansas.

When Charley Barnes asked me to go on a Journey 4 Justice ride to Topeka he told me it would be the adventure of a lifetime. Little did I know how true that would turn out to be. I had to do some serious thinking about whether I was going to go on this trip. I did what I usually do, I prayed for some kind of sign to help me make a decision. I received many signs telling me not to go but I couldn’t

You will be seeing the stories of my adventure to Topeka all week long. I have so much to share from this life changing ride I took. I am physically beat up and mentally shot yet so filled at the same time. I will share some stories of the grueling 16 hour ride in 50 mph winds and freezing temps.

Our office fridge has gotten out of control.  It is packed full of items well beyond their expiration date.  What was once someone's lunch, is now a high school science project.  I took my iPhone into the basement to investigate while Brian and Susan stayed in the K99 studio. I am living proof of the old saying “you can’t judge a book by its cover”. The world is so guilty of this all the time. We see people and make a judgment about what kind of person they are based on their looks. People see me and think I am a big, tough beer drinking dude. Nothing could be further from the truth.

Congratulations to Mrs. Jennifer Durkin, this week’s Teacher Tuesday Winner. Mrs. Durkin is a 4th Grade Teacher at Shepardson Elementary School in Ft. Collins. She was nominated by student Payne Tetley.  Brian and I made the presentation together and it was different than any Teacher Tuesday we have ever been involved in.
