Defense Leads The Way at CSU Spring Scrimmage

In the first scrimmage under new Colorado State head football coach Jim McElwain, the defense lived up to expectations as the dominant force that many expect in the upcoming season. The 'D' combined for 27 sacks, 30 tackles for loss, and an interception for a touchdown in yesterday's first spring scrimmage. The only offensive scoring of the game was a 4-yard rush by freshman Tommey Morris.
