What Started The Feed & Grain Fire in Timnath? [PICTURES]

On Thursday, February 23rd, the old Colorado Feed & Grain building in downtown Timnath burst into flames and partially burned the historic landmark.  Four people were living in the building at the time, but nobody was injured. We now know the cause of the fire.

The old Colorado Feed & Grain building in downtown Timnath burned yesterday morning, and it took firefighters more than an hour to put the blaze out because of the windy conditions.  Four people and some pets were living in the building, but nobody was injured.

Feed & Grain Building in Timnath Destroyed by Fire

This morning the Poudre Fire Authority responded to a two-alarm fire at the Old Colorado Feed & Grain Building in Timnath.

According to their Twitter feed, four people escaped the blaze and no one was injured.

Fire Heavily Damages Popular Greeley Resturant, Sushi One

Greeley firefighters responded at 4:53 a.m. Wednesday to the Sushi One restaurant at 3820 10th St., directly across the courtyard from The Egg & I restaurant in the Market Square strip mall, on a report of heavy smoke. Firefighters were able to prevent the fire from spreading toward other businesses in the strip mall, but the overnight fire  caused an estimated $250,000 in damage to Sushi One.

Prescribed Burn At Devil’s Backbone Open Space Today

According to the Larimer County Department of Natural Resources you can expect to see smoke coming from the Devil's Backbone Open Space today, but there's no need to call 911 as it will be the result of a prescribed burn to reduce the cover of exotic grasses, improve wildlife forage and habitat, and reduce fuel loads that could contribute to a wildfire.
