Over the next several months, the City of Fort Collins will replace a bridge on Shields Street just south of Rolland Moore Park. Federal funding has been awarded to replace the bridge, and the City of Fort Collins is able to provide the required local funds through Keep Fort Collins Great tax revenue

Highway 34 Down To One Lane in Each Direction Again This Weekend

I was driving home to Fort Collins from Greeley last night and was reminded by the flashing sign that Highway 34 would be reduced to one lane in each direction again this weekend. The sign also reminded me that I should expect delays. My advice would be avoid Highway 34 completely on Saturday and Sunday.

CDOT Has 5 Major Construction Projects Underway in Northern Colorado

Expect Delays on Highway 34 Between Loveland & Greeley This Weekend

Highway 34 between Loveland and Greeley will be reduced to one lane in each direction This weekend (April 14-15) and again next weekend (April 21-22). The Union Pacific Railroad and the Colorado Department of Transportation are replacing the railroad crossing about a half-mile east of the Centerra Parkway intersection, the entrance to the Promenade shopping center.

Closures at I-25 Windsor Exit & Work at Johnstown Exit

Every morning when I am driving to work in Windsor, I forget if the Windsor exit will be open or not. Thanks to the Colorado Department of Transportation, I can keep up on what is going on with the bridge construction project. Starting tonight (Sunday, March 25 at 6 p.m.), CDOT will have lane closures related to the Highway 392 at I-25 improvement project. There will also be median, striping and shoulder work at the Johnstown exit.

Multiple Closures for Windsor Exit This Week

It seems like the construction has been going on forever, but beginning today (Sunday, March 18), the Colorado Department of Transportation will have multiple lane closures at the Windsor exit. This afternoon from 2 p.m. until 9 p.m., there will be lane closures on eastbound and westbound Highway 392 near the west frontage road west of I-25.

Laporte & Whitcomb in Fort Collins Closed For Three Months
