Fort Collins – Loveland MLK Day Celebrations Today

Fort Collins and Loveland have established great traditions to celebrate the life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The Fort Collins celebration begins Monday, January 20th at 11 a.m. Marchers will meet at Old Town Square and will march to the University Center for the Arts at 1400 Remington street.

Five CSU Rams Named First Team All-Conference In The Mountain West

Five CSU Rams football players  have earned first-team All-Conference honors from the  Mountain West Yesterday. Linebacker Shaquil Barrett, tight end Crockett Gillmore, offensive lineman Weston Richburg, kicker Jared Roberts, and running back Kapri Bibbs were all named to the Mountain West's first team. Barrett was named the Mountain West Defensive Player of The Year.

Did you know you can now raise goats in your back yard in Fort Collins? Back in July the Fort Collins City Council  adopted revisions to an ordinance governing urban agriculture, which allows beekeeping and ownership of backyard ducks and chickens. For the first time, the ordinance also allows city folk to raise goats as pets or for milk or fiber production.
