Colorado Eagles Swept Out of ECHL Playoffs
April 7, 2012 The Colorado Eagles were eliminated in the 1st round of the ECHL Playoffs last night by the Stockton Thunder. The Thunder beat the Eagles 4-2 Friday night at the Budweiser Events Center, sweeping their best-of-five Western Conference Quarterfinals series three games to none.

March 31, 2012 The Colorado Eagles lost to the Las Vegas Wranglers 6-4 last night in Vegas, but it didn't matter. The Eagles wrapped up a playoff spot long ago. Now we know who the Eagles will play in the 1st round of the ECHL Kelly Cup Playoffs.

Eagles Win Home Finale – Playoff Tickets On-Sale Now
March 29, 2012 Brian and I were at the Budweiser Events Center last night as the Eagles defeated the Ontario Reign 3-1 in their season home finale. Colorado will wrap up their first regular season in the ECHL with a pair of games Friday & Saturday in Las Vegas. Tickets are on sale now for the Eagles 1st round playoff games, but we still don't know who they will play.

Budweiser Events Center Double Changeover
January 11, 2011 Saturday, January 8 marked the first double change over in the seven-year history of the Budweiser Events Center at The Ranch in Loveland. According to a press release, the arena was scheduled for two different sporting events in the same afternoon as the Harlem Globetrotters tipped-off at 1 p.m. and the Colorado Eagles took to the hockey rink at 8:05 p.m. in the same place the basketball game ended just hours before.

January 10, 2011 A Colorado Eagles hockey game turned into a gluttonous food-fest for me over the weekend. My wife and I went to the Eagles/Mudbugs game at the Budweiser Events Center on Saturday night with with some friends! The Eagles won the game 6-1, and everyone in the arena won free food from Wendy's! It happens every game when Colorado scored 6 goals or more! That wasn't the end of the free food!
