CMA Awards

The 47th Annual CMA Awards were held at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville Wednesday night and The Good Morning Guys were there to collect their CMA Award for Small Market Personalities of the year. There are lots of pictures.

We're at the CMA Awards Show and this place is alive with buzz as everyone waits to see which artists will be honored this year. You really couldn't ask for a more upbeat atmosphere with all of the biggest country music stars in attendance tonight. We've gotten to meet a number of them since we arrived; it has been a great time so far and the parties continue tonight after the awards show is over.

After a long day of travel, we have finally landed in music city, Nashville, Tennessee. We could not be more excited for the CMA Awards show tomorrow night, although we did miss being with all of you on the air this morning.

Actors, singers, award nominees and TV personalities are among those scheduled to present awards at the 2013 CMA Awards on Wednesday (Nov. 6).

If you're an avid K99 listener, then you know that we get to talk with the superstars of country music on a regular basis, but we hardly ever get to see them in person. With all of the CMA parties going on leading up to the CMA Awards show, we're getting the chance to do that and it will probably be one of the highlights of this trip for us.

Unlike many of the other CMA Awards, you may not know that we actually get our before the CMA Awards Show actually starts. We're one of the few people traveling to Nashville for the CMAs that actually know they have won something; we don't mind that!

Now that they're in their sixth year of hosting the CMA Awards, Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood are used to the high pressure of live television -- and of course, that includes the all-important opening monologue.
