Do you have some old batteries or paint or fluorescent lights you need to get rid of?   The City of Fort Collins is teaming up with CSU for the "Free Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event" today until 3 p.m.  Yes, you just have a couple hours to drop your stuff off at the Parking lot at the corner of Lake and College on the CSU Campus.

The City of Fort Collins held the "Great Mulch Giveaway" at Hoffman Mill Road, but alas, the mulch is all gone. It's been given away. There ain't no more mulch.  Hoffman Mill Road is mulch-less, having no mulch. It's mulch-free! Meaning: No more free mulch!

Fort Collins Flushing Water System

If you live in Fort Collins and your water is cloudy or discolored; don't be alarmed! Fort Collins Utilities crews will be flushing the water distribution system, weather permitting, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, for about eight weeks starting this week.

City of Fort Collins Tree Cleanup Complete

City of Fort Collins clean-up efforts in response to the widespread tree damage caused by heavy, wet snowfall in October are officially complete.  With the effort complete, the City’s Code Compliance inspectors will resume standard code enforcement on Monday, December 12th, and begin issuing notices of violation related to branch debris.

Fort Collins to Offer No-Cost Tree Branch Removal

The City of Fort Collins is currently working with community partners including Colorado State University, Larimer County, and others on community clean-up efforts. The City will offer no-cost branch removal and recycling assistance to all residents beginning Monday, Oct. 31; work is scheduled to be complete by the end of November.
