The Denkai Animal Sanctuary has been around now for a decade. Floss and her volunteers have done some amazing things for our animal friends. In fact, they have helped over 2900 animals just in 2013 alone. As you can imagine though, it's not free and Denkai would love to see you at their next event.

Our local HOG (Harley Owners Group) chapters do amazing things in their communities and the 1462 Chapter in Greeley has been raising thousands of dollars for over two decades helping many different charities. One of those is the Triangle Cross Ranch.

The Kristi Visocky Foundation will Raise the Roof tonight, literally. The foundation was formed to keep the spirit of Kristi alive and benefit the community that this young woman loved so dearly. Tonight their "Raise the Roof" event will benefit Habitat for Humanity.

Every year since 1952, firefighters across the nation have been collecting money to support MDA: the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Last year firefighters in Northern Colorado were able to raise $11,000 in Greeley; over $15,000 in Fort Collins; and over $9,000 in Windsor. This year they will be setting up at different locations around Northern Colorado once again as they set out to Fill the Boot

Well, I hate to say it but it was two of my favorite funny guys; Penn and Teller. Wait, actually it was a brilliant idea! They did it to make a point that this was "real life" and even made sure Attorney General, Janet Reno, knew of it. Hey, maybe we could use this game as a punishment?

Coming up on August 10th is the 3rd Annual Sportsmen's Raffle in Denver to benefit the Shriners Children's Hospitals across the country. This isn't just any ordinary raffle though. If you love guns, this is one of those raffles you just can't pass up.
