Time for an update on Eunice the robin and her nest full of new babies. I had named the offspring Muddy, Sam and Otis then to my surprise we found a fourth youngster who we named Greta. I have watched in wonder as mom has kept the brood healthy and happy. I am amazed at the dedication these birds have for their young ones.

I love to cook. I really love to cook on the grill. Last night we tried a new recipe for grilled pork chops that I just have to share. I don't cook a lot of pork chops and I don't know why, they are so delicious. I think I am afraid of under cooking them and killing my family. I just have to remember to cook them till they are white as Mayberry and I am safe.

I know I tend to dish out a lot advice in my blogs. I struggle with day to day life and I like to share what helps my brain get through the day. I am no Dr. Phil and I don't have as many degrees as a thermometer but I have plenty of problems and I like to help those going through similar struggles.

I want to do a telethon to help cure hypocrisy. There are few things that are as disturbing to be as hypocrites. People who chastise others for things that they do themselves make me ill. Parents, teachers, business leaders, politicians, friends, everyone is guilty of it from time to time and sometimes don't even realize it.

I love cornish game hens. I don't know why I don't make them more often because they are so easy and tasty. Every one gets their own tasty bird complete with wishbone and just tears into it. The National Association of Letter Carriers will be having their 20th annual food drive this Saturday. They will be collecting non-perishable donations as they go about their daily deliveries. It is the the largest single-day food drive in the country.

Thought I would give you a quick update on my new friend Eunice the robin and her new family. I came out the nest which is on one of my fence posts and saw 3 little open mouths sticking out above the nest. They were so cute. I stuck my phone above the nest to get a picture but didn't want to get to close as to freak out Eunice.
