Craig Campbell made the trip to Nashville in 2002 from Georgia where he grew up playing piano at his Mom's church. After his Mother divorced, his 11 year old sister was charged with watching her younger siblings which is perhaps where he found the inspiration to write his only Top 20 hit to date, "Family Man."

If you watch the Jimmy Kimmel show then you might be familiar with Miss Willie Brown. There is actually no Miss Brown involved but rather two very talented girls who met in California from very different parts of the country an their debut single called "You're All That Matters To Me" is the debut launch of their dream.

The wait for some new music from Gloriana is finally over. After Cheyenne Kimball abruptly left the group in 2011 the wait for a sophomore album was close to three years in the making. Will that lengthy time span be helpful or harmful?

Katie Armiger, from Sugar Land Texas, set out on her country music adventure after winning a Houston Texas competition for young country singers. Armiger has released three albums on the Cold River Records and has charted four singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart.

Parmalee hails from South Carolina and the small town of Parmalee. The band is comprised of brothers Matt Thomas on lead vocals/guitar and Scott Thomas who plays drums. They are joined by cousin Barry Knox on bass and Josh McSwain also on guitar. Wow! Love these guys and I think you will too.

Anyone remember "Holla Back" by The Lost Trailers? Well, the band is back with new music and possibly album #6. With so many albums one would think they would have had more radio and touring success but maybe this is the album to put them on the map. In fact, the band has already set a record for most first week country radio station adds for an artist-owned independently distributed company and the new single, American Beauty, landed on the Billboard Hot Country songs this week!

Kix Brooks, half of the multi-talented "Brooks and Dunn," has won more CMA and ACM awards than any other act in the history of country music. But it wasn't that way as an early solo act and now Kix Brooks is back to being a solo artist with more experience under his belt than just about anyone.

Back in January I did a feature on today's artist Kacey Musgraves. It was done before the release of "Merry Go Round," the latest single from Musgrave. The feature from back in January includes some great songs you will probably enjoy. You might know Kacey from Season 5 of Nashville Star and I am really hoping she carves a niche for herself somewhere along the way. She reminds me a lot of Tanya Tucker, Miranda Lambert and Gretchen Wilson all rolled into one. This spitfire Texas brunette is proving she has something to say and real, honest music to be heard.

There is little doubt that Little Big Town is riding new found success with the acquisition of their first #1 single, "Pontoon," just earlier this month. No time to rest for LBT as they release the album's title track, "Tornado," as it's second release.
