On Saturday, October 15, the City of Greeley Culture, Parks and Recreation Department will host a public opening and dedication for Aven’s Village Playground.
The City of Greeley Parks Division has removed old playground equipment located at the future site of Aven’s Village at Island Grove Regional Park in Greeley.
Aven’s Village All Inclusive Playground is in the running for a $25,000 State Farm Neighborhood Assist® grant, but they need your votes in order to the money!
Greeley Stampede made a generous donation to the City of Greeley’s Parks Division for Aven’s Village, the 1st universally accessible playground in Weld County.
Greeley's first all-inclusive playground is being built at Island Grove Park in Greeley. It's a playground for kids of all mental and physical abilities. It will be named Aven's Village.
"Aven’s Village," named after Greeley resident Aven Mondy, will be located in Greeley’s Island Grove Regional Park. This isn't your everyday playground though.
