28 Hours of Hope 2016

I have spent the weekend trying to get some rest and trying to figure out the right words to say thank you for your amazing support of the 28 Hours of Hope. There is nothing I can say that will come close to being enough but I will try.

The 18th Annual 28 Hours of Hope was a huge success. We had a goal of raising at least six figures to help fight child abuse in Northern Colorado and we did.

Another year has come and gone, and so hasn't another successful "28 Hours of Hope" event which will go a long way in stopping child abuse in Colorado.

Catherine St. Germain recently made a powerful video about her experience with sexual abuse and why April is a rough month for her and her daughter-- but how, through their experiences, they're learning to grow stronger day by day.

Brian and Todd have always had a close relationship with Miss Colorado, Kelley Johnson, so it was no surprise when she came to the K99 studios with Gene Haffner to talk about future goals and what the 28 Hours of Hope means to them.

The 28 Hours of Hope begins in less than 24 hours. Tomorrow morning at 5 am Todd and I will roll into the studio and stay on the air until 9 am Friday morning doing our best to raise money to help fight child abuse in northern Colorado. We have always had an amazing roster of country music stars calling in and this year is bigger than ever.

The 28 Hours of Hope which raises money to help abused children in northern Colorado is fast approaching. The big event is Thursday the 14th at 5 am through Friday the 15th at 9 am. One of the things I am most proud of about the event is how the community unites to make a difference during this time.
