Suspicious Package Investigated in Milliken

A suspicious package was investigated in the town of Milliken Thursday. Around 9 a.m. yesterday a resident found the unattended briefcase along Highway 60. It somehow ended up in front of a 7-Eleven in the 1100 block of Broad Street. A school resource officer then noticed it and called authorities. Police evacuated one block around the briefcase as they investigated. It was determined that the briefcase contained office supplies.
