Suicide of 11 Year Old Prompts Brian Gary to Speak About Bullying [VIDEO]

Bullying is a huge problem. How many lives do we have to lose? How many people have to have their self-esteem shattered and feel like they cannot do another day before we open our eyes and ears? There is an epidemic going on all around us and we need to do something about it. We need to make a stand against bullying NOW!

Last week I got a call from a friend who knew of my passion for children and protecting them. I have always said that if you are being bullied and need a place to turn, turn to me. He called me just to talk and get some sadness off his chest. He has a friend whose sister's 11 year old child committed suicide after being endlessly bullied. This just breaks my heart. We have to teach our kids that words can be damaging and that it is so much better to be the one people turn to for help and not the one they run from. No one should have to endure such pain.

I was one of those awful kids as a young man and I finally woke up and have devoted to live my life the opposite that I did in my youth. Let's open our eyes and ears and be in tune with our children.
