Suehiro in Old Town Fort Collins Closed Indefinitely After Fire
Sushi may not be everyone's cup of tea; but judging by the wait time at Suehiro on a Friday night, those folks were doing it right. Unfortunately, there's no telling when the popular Fort Collins Japanese restaurant will be open again after the fire that broke out on Sunday.
According to The Coloradoan, restaurant and building owner Ed Kendall is trying to get the restaurant open again as soon as possible, but it could take months. In the meantime, 40 employees are without jobs.
Immediate damage to the first-floor water heater, as well as structural damage to the restaurant around it and smoke damage to the entire building are estimated to cost at least $25,000, said Poudre Fire Authority Spokesman Patrick Love.

There is a second Suehiro location on the South side of town, at 4431 Corbett Dr. (in Front Range Village off Harmony Rd.); so customers can still get their fix, but they might have to drive a little further.
Will you commute to the south Suehiro location, or find another place to eat? Let us know in the comments!
