Stay in Colorado This Summer With These Family Vacation Spots [LIST]
Recently, Denver was listed as one of the 15 most popular vacation destinations that are actually boring. Some of the other "boring" destinations on the list included New York, Niagra Falls, Hollywood and Stonehenge. Knowing how many great things there are to do in Colorado, I figured we should put together some great places to visit.
Chautauqua in Boulder
48 miles of hiking trails and thousands of acres of natural lands surround rental cottages. Throughout the summer, there are all kinds of great events for the entire family.
Colorado Springs
Just a short two hour drive south of us, Colorado Springs has an amazing zoo, the Broadmore hotel, Garden of the Gods, Manitou Cliff Dwellings, the Olympic Training Center and the Cog Railway to the top of Pike's Peak.
Estes Park
Just up the road, enjoy quaint shopping, hiking and camping in Rocky Mountain National Park. There are also several festivals during the summer.
Glenwood Springs
With the world's largest outdoor mineral hot springs pool and an adventure park built on top of the mountain, this is a location perfect for every family
Ski Resorts
Just because there aren't any snow-packed runs to carve, there are plenty of things to do at some of our great resorts during the summer. Check out Aspen, Breckenridge, Crested Butte, Keystone and Vail.
