According to the
Coloradoan, the suspect fled police, and barricaded himself in a Loveland residence. I still isn't known if the residence belonged to the suspect, however the Loveland police sent out a Tweet to the residence in the 900 block of East 4th Street, to avoid the area for their own safety.

At 6:37 p.m., the Loveland Police department sent out another Tweet, informing the community that the suspect was in custody. This happened after the SWAT team entered the residence and apprehended the suspect, after over an hour-long standoff.
