Speed Limit 101: A Class For Those Who Aren’t Sure
Ok…I have to get this off my chest. It’s my biggest pet peeve and maybe I will feel better when I let this one go.Speed Limits: Follow them. It’s just as simple as that. I travel Hwy 257 from Greeley to Windsor and it never ceases to amaze me that I get stuck behind someone who insists on doing 50-55, I assume because they are on a 2-lane road? Now, what REALLY upsets me over this whole thing is that same driver will do 75 as soon as he/she hits Hwy 34 and heading into Greeley? Really? I am pretty sure that 65MPH means you can do 65MPH be it on a 2-lane, 4-lane, 6-lane, 8-lane road.
In case you are wondering what speed limit sign I am referring to please look to the left…yes, it says 65MPH. Now I understand if you don’t want to do the speed limit but can you pull over so the rest of us can? How rude…when there is NO ONE in front of y0u and there are 13 vehicles in your rear view mirror, chances are very good that YOU ARE THE PROBLEM. Maybe we should change the signs to be more friendly like the one below…
