The Sounds of Centerra concert series returns to Chapungu Sculpture Park at Centerra on Friday, July 6 for its eleventh season. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs and find a comfortable spot on the Great Lawn to enjoy this year’s line-up from local and regional musicians. The concerts will be held on the Chapungu Great Lawn from 7 to 9 p.m. every Friday in July and are free to the public.

2018 Sounds of Centerra Concert Series Lineup:

  • Friday, July 6: Soul School

Soul School features extensive entertainment experience and a vast repertoire of music which includes Golden Oldies, Beach, Motown, Country, Jazz, Rock, Funk, Rhythm and Blues and Contemporary.

  • Friday, July 13: The Trampolines

The Trampolines are a Pop/Rock act, based in Denver, Colorado, that began as an acoustic duo in early 2004. Incorporating a bassist and a drummer has produced their jangly, acoustic-driven pop-rock template reminiscent of mid-'90s acts like the Gin Blossoms.

  • Friday, July 20: The 14ers

When catching a show with The 14ers, expect interactive and authentic sets with original music. Local music artist, Ryan Kirkpatrick brews lively lyrics with catchy acoustic based songs, spends lots of time outdoors, and laughs a lot. The 14ers is named after Colorado's highest mountain peaks and is ready to share a musical adventure.

  • Friday, July 27: Bonnie and the Clydes

Bonnie & the Clydes are one of the foremost Front Range bands, pioneering their unique sound of Rocky Mountain Country Soul. Fronted by the fiery Bonnie Sims, this band has been making waves with powerful and memorable live performances for the past seven years.

Food

Chick-fil-A will be onsite offering $5 dinner packages, and Divine Ice Cream will be selling dessert treats. Complimentary popcorn and water will also be provided by Thompson Valley High School Band Boosters, while supplies last.
