The power of music is really unlike anything else. It can your friend when you are down and need a shoulder. It can be your drinking buddy when you need to unwind and let it all go. It can make you think and be a better person and help you through all that life brings you. I cannot imagine how messed up I would be without singers and songwriters.

Miranda Lambert got to feel the power of what her music does the other night in Hartford, Connecticut. She was doing a show there when a sign caught her eye. She was just breaking into "The House That Built Me" when she noticed a sign being held in the first few rows. It was from a soldier and it read "3 combat tours...your voice was the last thing I listened to every night! Thank you!!". Miranda was brought to tears. Check out the video here.
