Newbies to Colorado might be excited with the kind of shot sent to us this morning from Amanda in Aurora, but long time residents and natives will leave their flip-flops near the door for tomorrow.

The forecast outlook for the rest of the week has you back in your leggings and T's throughout the rest of the week. Look for highs in the low 60's and overnight low's around 33 degrees on average. By Saturday "young and hippie-esq man winter" as opposed to "old man winter" will push the envelope and bring Northern Colorado temperatures near 70 degrees during the day and overnight lows in the upper 30's to lower 40's.

You might not be all that comfortable camping out this time of year, but you could survive in a tent with a zero bag, pretty comfortably.

If you are a Colorado newbie and was looking forward to a table full of cool weather foods this week, maybe you can crank the Air Conditioner and enjoy your big bowl of chili nonetheless. Meanwhile, welcome to the greatest state in the U.S.
