A skydiver suffered serious injuries when he hit the plan he was jumping out of over Northern Colorado. According to the Coloradoan, the incident happened over Longmont, and the skydiver is in the process of recovering.

In reports, the pilot has stated that he "felt the controls shake and heard a thud" after activating the ready light. This light is turned on to alert the skydivers to "open the door," and not to jump. It's implied that the divers jumped prematurely as the pilot was still configuring the plane for a jump. No one on the plane was injured, however, the plane did sustain "substantial" damage.
