The Ravens will be battling the 49ers in the big game in a couple of weeks and you need some good recipes to serve. I am here to help thanks to my wife who made this tasty snack for us this weekend. No matter who you are cheering for you will score with this delicious treat.

You need to get one of those sour dough bolle breads. Cut it into squares, like a grid, but don't cut all the way through the bread. Just get it right down to the bottom and fan it out a bit. Put butter down every slit you have made and also fill each opening with a slice of monterey jack cheese. You then chop up a few green onions, if desired, and sprinkle with poppy seeds. Wrap it in foil and put it in a pan. We used a round cake pan. Bake it for 15 minutes at 350 wrapped up and then unwrap and bake another 15. This was perfect as a snack or a great thing to serve with a pasta dish. We absolutely loved it and you will too.
