ShurFine Praline Pecan Ice Cream Recalled
A certain kind of ShurFine ice cream is being recalled because of improper labeling.
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has announced a voluntary recall of ShurFine Brand Creamery Select (Premium Ice Cream) Dulce de Leche in 1.75-quart containers because it may contain praline pecan ice cream.
The praline pecan ice cream contains wheat, soy and pecans not declared on the Dulce de Leche labeling. The recall is limited to product marked with a “Best By” date of Nov. 8, 2014. There have been no reported cases of illness at this time.
