Shine a Blue Light to Show Your Support for Law Enforcement Officers – Brian’s Blog

It is no secret that I have a great love and respect for our law enforcement officers. I am so grateful for the job they do and knowing they are there to protect me and keep me safe. There are a few bad apples in every bunch of people but that is inevitable. This is a very violent and messed up world right now and I am very thankful that our men and women in blue are there doing their job. I love our law enforcement and want to show my support for them and make a stand against violence. That is where the blue light comes in.

A friend of mine in law enforcement wrote to me about a great idea for a show of support. We should all shine a blue light in our home, on our patio or somewhere to be seen to show your support for law enforcement officers and your intolerance of violence. I love the idea. I already have a green light on my porch to show my support for the military so why not a blue one over the garage to show my support for our State Patrol, Sheriff's Office, Police Departments and all law enforcement. We have lost too many officers and citizens due to senseless violence and I want to make a stand that it will not be tolerated anymore. A little blue light can say a lot.
