Every 4th of July the best competitive eaters from around the world gather in New York for the most prestigious eating contest there is, Nathan's Famous Hot Dog Eating Contest. For the 6th year in a row Joey Chestnut win the event, while tying his own world record of 68 hot dogs in 10 minutes. Todd and I thought we could probably do as well, so we decided to have a little hot dog eating contest of our own.

Since we are not professional eaters we decided to make it a little easier on ourselves by eliminating the buns and also only eating for one minute instead of 10. Susan Moore came in to give commentary of the event and we were on our way.

This is not the first time we have done something like this, but the stake were a bit lower than the last time we had an eating competition here at K99. You may remember the last time we tried something like this Brian Gary ended up with a Twinkie the Kid tattoo on his arm. As you will be able to tell, if there was such a bet this time poor Todd would be wearing a wiener on his arm for the rest of his life. Fortunately for Todd, there was only a friendly bet and the only thing he lost was pride.
