Shania Twain is back to say goodbye. She announced recently that she will do one more big full blown farewell tour. The tour will make it's way to Denver on August 14th. I would love to see her one more time as she puts on one heck of a show.

Shania was the hottest name in music in the late 90's and her album 'Come On Over' proved how big she was. On this date in 1999 'Come On Over' was recognized as having shipments of over 10 million copies making her the first female country artist to have two albums reach that mark. The amazing thing about this album is that it had 11 singles on it. Here is a list.

  1. "Love Gets Me Every Time"
  2. "Don't Be Stupid (You Know I Love You)"
  3. "You're Still the One"
  4. "From This Moment On"
  5. "Honey, I'm Home"
  6. "That Don't Impress Me Much"
  7. "Man! I Feel Like a Woman!"
  8. "You've Got a Way"
  9. "Come On Over"
  10. "Rock This Country!"
  11. "I'm Holdin' On to Love (To Save My Life)"

These days artists are really lucky if they have three singles on an album but Shania had eleven. That is just mind blowing! She sold nearly 18 million copies of 'Come On Over' which is staggering and it sat on top of the charts for a good 19 weeks. These are numbers we just don't see anymore. Congrats to Shania on the anniversary of this historic feat. Here are a few of my favorites.
