We have lost two more soldiers since last Monday's post. Sadly, 90% of the population probably has no idea today who these two brave young men were or that they even existed for that matter. Freedom isn't free at all; someone has to pay for it.  Please make it a point this week to go out of your way and thank a soldier.  It's a good habit to get into!

    Sgt. Tristan M. Wade/Indianapolis, IN. - Age 23 and Killed in Action by an improvised explosive device on March 22 in Qarah Bagh District, Ghazni Province, Afghanistan, when enemy forces attacked his unit with an IED.

    Wade was assigned to the 573rd Clearance Company, 2nd Engineer Battalion, White Sands Missile Range, N.M.

    Sgt. 1st Class James F. Grissom/Hayward, CA. - Age 31, died March 21 at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center, Germany, of wounds suffered from small arms fire March 18 in Paktika Province, Afghanistan. He was assigned to the 4th Battalion, 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne), Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash.
