Officially, today sucks. It is NOT my pleasure to mention the first soldier KIA for 2013. Please take a moment to thank Sgt. Aaron X. Wittman and his family in the comment section at the bottom of this post. Also, don't forget, every Friday I am not doing a feature where we salute the military hero's here in Northern Colorado who have made it home. Details at the end of this post on how you can salute the hero in YOUR life.

Charley's Friday Salute To Those Who Made It Home - 1/12

If you have a "hero" in your life who made it home and you would like to recognize them then I would invite you to send me their information and a picture. This is a new feature to end the week on a positive since Monday is such a negative with the KIA honor post. Let's make sure those who made it home also know how proud we are of them. If you have questions or would like to submit information for this Friday feature please email me at charley@k99.com
