Killed In Action May 14, in Sanjaray, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when enemy forces attacked his unit with an improvised explosive device. Sgt. 1st Class Jeffrey C. Baker was assigned to the 766th Ordnance Company, 63rd Ordinance Battalion, 52nd Ordnance Group in Fort Stewart, Ga. Also killed was Spc. Mitchell K. Daehling and Spc. William J. Gilbert.
