The public is invited to the official sendoff party for the CSU Rams as they depart for the New Mexico Bowl. The event is Wednesday outside Moby Arena before they take off for Albuquerque to take on Washington State on Saturday, Dec. 21st. The celebration, which will include members of the CSU marching band and cheer squad, begins at 8:15 a.m. The team will depart at 8:30 a.m.

The Rams are making their first postseason appearance since the 2012, when they also appeared in the New Mexico Bowl. In his second year at CSU, Coach Jim McElwain led the Rams to a 7-6 record and earned the 12th bowl invitation in CSU history.
