We have all heard the US Postal Service is in trouble. There are rumors of that many post offices across the country could be closed and there is a chance that Saturday mail service could be discontinued.

The US Senate passed a plan to help the struggling Postal Service and save thousands of jobs. Personally, I rarely use the mail, mostly just email and I receive almost all of my bills and other personal items via email, so I wouldn’t miss Saturday mail delivery.

Would you miss Saturday mail delivery?

Will the US House also vote in favor of the plan?

“My hope is that our friends over in the U.S. House, given our bipartisan steps we took this week, will feel a sense of urgency,” said Sen. Tom Carper, a Delaware Democrat, one of the Senate bill’s co-sponsors. “The situation is not hopeless, the situation is dire.”
