Stuart Miles, ThinkStock[/caption]BE AWARE.  There is a new scam happening in Colorado.  This time it involves law enforcement.

As 9 News reported, Boulder County, Colorado has been the latest target of the scam asking for money through a prepaid card.

This time, the callers are claiming they are deputies stating that there is a warrant for your arrest for missing jury duty.  They go on to say that you must send them $5,000 to $6,000 by a prepaid card.

If you get a call like this in any fashion, you should be suspicious.  Scam artists are all over the place, preying on good people who work hard for their money.  Be safe out there and if you suspect anything is not exactly what it seems, it probably is worth looking into more.
