The 3rd annual Running of the Wieners dachshund races are set for Saturday, June 7th in Loveland. “Every wiener is a winner,” and each dog will receive a participation ribbon, with gold, silver and bronze medals awarded in each division. The event will benefit Fort Collins Cat Rescue & Spay/Neuter Clinic.

The Running of the Wieners is hosted by Big Beaver Brewing Co. and Blown Spoke Hard Cider Co., which are donating a portion of their proceeds of beer, hard cider, barbecue and merchandise sales for the day to the low-cost spay/neuter clinic for dogs and cats. The races will be at a different location this year – Blown Spoke’s new cider production facility at 245 S. Madison Ave. in Loveland.
