I saw police tape wrapped around the store yesterday as I drove by, but had no idea what had happened.  More than 20 inches of heavy wet snow is being blamed for causing a roof collapse at a Discount Tire store on South College in Fort Collins. I guess I'm not surprised. It's probably more surprising that more roofs haven't caved in.

According to the Fort Collins Coloradoan:  Employees showed up to work on Thursday morning at Discount Tire to find the roof had collapsed. No vehicles were parked inside when the roof gave way.

The store manager said the building has been deemed unsafe. The store owners have not decided if they will repair the damage or if the building will be a complete loss.
