Actually, all national parks and monuments will have free entrance in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

It's time to grab the outdoor gear, the kids, pack a lunch or not and hit RMNP. Some of the best family fun to be had is at the park and in its neighboring little towns. The park is currently celebrating 100 years through September 2015.

The entrance fee for RMNP is typically $20 per vehicle, this is a great savings.

Again, the Rocky Mountain National Park is waiving the entrance fee in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day,  Monday January, 19, 2015. And, just in case you forgot or didn't put it down on the calendar, the Poudre School District kiddos K-12, don't have school. Other free days are planned throughout the year, the next one comes up next month for Presidents' Day Weekend.

Have Fun!
