One of the greatest things about living in Colorado is our national parks. Taking a day to drive up through Estes Park and hitting Rocky Mountain National Park is not only a treat for your all your senses, it can actually fill your soul. You can get into Rocky Mountain National Park this weekend for free! Grab the gang and head up the mountain and see what I am talking about. I will be bugling in Estes this weekend. Admission to all of our national parks is free during National Park Week, starting Saturday and running through April 29th. That means all 397 parks in the system will let you in without a charge, including all 4 National Parks in Colorado:
- Rocky Mountain National Park
- Mesa Verde National Park
- Great Sand Dunes National Park
- Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park

2013 Greeley Stampede Demolition Derby Gears Up July 7th
The Greeley Stampede is coming up, and you know what that means. Corndogs, cowboy hats, concerts, and cars. One of the best parts of the 10-day festival is the demolition derby. Hundreds (yes, hundreds) of drivers will partake in the destructive chaos. This year's demolition derby will take place on July 7th at 2:00 PM, and tickets cost $20-25.
