When a child is tragically taken from this earth it is not only the family that suffers but the whole community. The classmates and friends of the person hurt too and need to talk about it. Tonight Rocky Mountain High School will offer the students and their families an opportunity to gather at Olander Elementary School, 3401 Auntie Stone Street in Fort Collins and remember Colton and Ashley Fischer who were killed in a traffic accident earlier this week. These precious angels were the children of our own D Dennison and we know how bad we are all hurting over this. Tonight, many will gather to remember.

A letter was sent to Rocky Mountain High School students:

"Dear RMHS Community,

It is with great sadness that I inform you  of the loss of 2 of our students, who were killed in an automobile accident in North Dakota this past Sunday.  Our 2 students are senior to be Ashley Fischer and her brother junior to be Colton Fischer.  We realize their deaths have a tremendous emotional impact on our student community.  We are offering a time and space for student & parent gathering for support.  We will be providing a Rocky community support time at Olander Elementary school tomorrow Wednesday 6/27 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm.  Our school & district professional staff will be present for support.

We all extend our deepest sympathy to Ashley & Colton's parents & family.

Sincerely yours,

Tom Lopez

Principal RMHS"
