Rockies, Pirates Postponed Due To Rain
Game one of the series between the Colorado Rockies (8-7) and Pittsburgh Pirates (6-9) was rained out last night at PNC Park, and will be made up as a double-header on Wednesday. Tonight’s game featuring Jamie Moyer on the mound for the Rockies will remain as scheduled, starting at 5:05 MT (TV: none).
The first game of Wednesday’s double-header will begin, as scheduled, at 10:35 a.m. MT, and Game 2 will begin 30 minutes after the end of Game 1. Rockies pitchers for the doubleheader are right-handers Juan Nicasio and Jhoulys Chacin.
